The Division 2 is coming out on 15th of March, with a Private Beta period stretching from 7th to 11th of February, and the interest in Ubisoft’s next iteration of the popular looter-shooter is rapidly ramping up.

The Division 2 Multiplayer Modes are going to be taking notes from the original Division release; players are in for a more dynamic, interconnected, and focused experience in PvP than was previously the case, and it shows.

In more practical terms, The Division 2 will still have two dedicated PvP multiplayer modes on launch (with more coming post-launch): Dark Zones and Conflict. Dark Zones are a given in Division, featuring three smaller endgame areas where players will hunt for high-end loot while facing off against other people.

Conflict, on the other hand, is your run-of-the-mill PvP featuring Domination and Skirmish modes which are rather self-explanatory. Ubisoft intend for rewards from Conflict to tie into your core Division 2 experience, with rewards transferring from one mode to the other.

In case you are unaware, The Division 2 has ditched Steam altogether in favour of the Epic Games Store. It will be interesting to see in which way, exactly, will this affect the game’s sales compared to its predecessor.
